With our headquarters in Torrance, CA, Venue Security Corporation’s mission is to substantially reduce or eliminate tragic deaths, crime, and violence in nightclubs and other entertainment venues and to provide venue operators with innovative tools to measure and improve their operational performance.
History
Venue Security Corporation has extensive experience in advising entertainment venue operators, law enforcement officials, and civic leaders on how to implement a combination of traditional and innovative security technologies and best training practices to prevent underage drinking, crime, and violence in the nightclubs and venues in their communities. We have also been directly involved in assisting numerous city governments in drafting the ordinances that govern the nightlife activities in their cities.
The company began operating in the mid 1990s under the name International Security and Information Services, Inc. ("ISIS"), which primarily focused on security staff training for entertainment venues. Between 2001 to 2003 the company expanded it's portfolio of products to include traditional security equipment (security cameras, metal detectors, etc.) and new groundbreaking technologies that leveraged the talent of the software and network engineers that joined the company during that period. The company incorporated under the new Venue Security Corporation name in 2003.
Starting out as a traditional security equipment vendor and provider of on-premise security training has given Venue Security Corporation deep insight into both the strengths and weaknesses of traditional security products. As a result of our analysis of thousands of documented nightclub and venue incident reports dating back to 1970, Venue Security Corporation has developed the Club Watch Community Connection to help venues overcome the inherent weaknesses in traditional security equipment. The Club Watch Community Connection is a unique Internet-based software/hardware network system that brings entertainment venues and their communities together in ways like never before. The result is substantially reduced underage drinking, crime and violence in nightclubs and entertainment venues. The Club Watch Community Connection also provides venue operators with many user-friendly tools to quantify and improve the performance of their operations.
Our Team & Advisory Board
Our team and advisory board are comprised of veteran police officers, former bouncers, current venue operators, computer software and hardware engineers, a former AT&T executive, former quality control engineer and Global Sourcing Manager for Motorola, media specialists and a former military intelligence analyst.
